LD2 is a maritime biplane that became operational in 1914. After they became obsolete in the German Navy they were sent to Turkey as military aid and they were deployed in Izmir. A total of 6 LD2's were deployed within the Turkish armed forces in January 1916 but they were all crashed by the end of 1917.
